Sarah Doyle, LSCSW

Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker, Trained in Brainspotting Therapy Techniques

Sarah Doyle LSCSW completed both her bachelor's and master’s degrees at The University of Kansas. Sarah has also worked as a facilitator with families who were court ordered for supervised visitation and exchange. She is available to work with both teens and adults.

Sarah has experience working as a therapist for adults in community mental health providing both individual and group therapy. Sarah brings to Family Psychological Services unique skills in the treatment of trauma. She is trained and experienced in Brainspotting (BSP) a brain-based psychotherapy involving sustained, focused mindfulness, which follows in the tradition of and extends EMDR. BSP uses the client's internal resources to help resolve problems as well as enhance creativity or performance at school and in the workplace. Sarah has also received training in both in individual and group models of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She has combined these approaches to work with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as stress related to a wide array of difficulties in daily living including grief and loss, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, and ongoing depression and anxiety.

From Dr. Wes: Sarah is an energetic clinician who brings a directive and engaging style to her work. She zeros in on specific concerns and desired outcomes and strives to reduce the impact of mental health and emotional reactivity on everyday life. She connects with her clients and works hard on their behalf. If you or your teenager would like to see Sarah, now is the time, as builds her caseload and will, for a brief time, have more openings. Sarah's Schedule

PLEASE READ BEFORE EXAMINING THE CALENDAR BELOW: Sarah's availability for appointments is listed below. You CANNOT schedule here, only see availabilities. Her evening and after school schedule is typically filled with existing clients. Regardless of availability, she may not be taking new clients. The appearance of an opening does not guarantee an appointment, it only allows you to see what is available to request. Contact the office at 785-371-1414 to schedule or if you are a new client, fill out the ask about services form. Due to how Google masks event details, the availability is listed as "busy." This means that anything that shows up as "busy" is actually OPEN for an existing client appointment.
