At Family Psychological Services, our medication management approach is just like our approach to therapy--we build relationships with our clients and families and then follow those cases closely to maximize outcomes. We're all on the team. That will definitely take up more of your time than a five-minute med check, but it will add piece of mind to your or your child's treatment.
Dr. Kelsey holds two walk-in medication consultations a day, three days a week from 8 to 9am and from 5 to 6pm. The days may vary week to week, so check out Kelsey's Twitter feed (@KelseyDNP) or if you don't have Twitter go to our Medication_Management page where it is live-posted. There Kelsey posts updates on walk-in times including last minute changes due to weather or illness. You can also call 785-371-1414 to find out upcoming dates. Walk-in consultation has proven very popular so, come at the beginning of the hour to get your place in the queue. All walk-in clients must have an open chart at FPS, be stable on medication or need only minor changes in dosage which can be completed in a 10 to 15 minute appointment. Clients are seen on a first-come first-serve basis. Learn more about our medication policies here.
